Women Get Things Done:

A Conversation with Jean Jacobson

We invite you to attend a meaningful event in honor of Jean Jacobson, a prominent figure in Racine County. Whether you are familiar with Jean or not, she will leave you feeling motivated and empowered.  We extend our gratitude to Kimberly Kane for moderating the event.

Jean Jacobson is a trailblazer, having served as the first and only woman Racine County Executive. Her career in elected government began in 1980 as a Racine County Board Supervisor, representing the Town of Norway. She then served as County Board Chair and Racine County Executive. With her extensive experience as a board member of various organizations and agencies, Jean possesses a wealth of knowledge. At present, she serves as a Director of the Local Government Institute and has been appointed by several governors to serve on various state commissions. Jean was also a long-time member of Tempo Racine.

Kimberly Kane is the president and CEO of Kane Communications Group. She is an award-winning journalist and public relations practitioner. Her team works across multiple communication spectrums to develop strategies that define organizations and inspire business results.
