We invite you to a discussion on the impact of systemic racism in Racine and the ways in which we as professionals and community members can work to eliminate it. Carolynn Friesch, TEMPO Racine membership chair, will lead a panel of local leaders working on these efforts. We encourage you to join the conversation and to invite guests to this conversation that is so important to our community for us to have.

For every guest registered, TEMPO Racine will donate $15 to benefit the Professional Women’s Network for Service, Inc. Founded in 2004, Racine-based, Professional Women’s Network for Service, Inc. (PWNS) promotes educational empowerment, the arts and cultural awareness, national issues, and global initiatives that enrich the lives of women and children. Georgann Stinson, former member of TEMPO Racine, is the founder and president of the PWNS. Current projects in Racine include the development of a tour of local points of the Underground Railroad, as well as a training for Black doulas.
